The following sad intelligence is clipped from a recent issue of the Paoli, Kansas Republican: Died on Monday April 16, 1883 at 1 a.m. Mrs. Lucinda, wife of Elder J. Martin, aged 51 years 8 months and 2 days. She was a consistent and devoted member of the Christian Church for the past 30 years. She departed this stage of action happily, rejoicing in the hope of joining and redeemed of Israel and to abide forever in the celestial city of God.
